Message from the president

Innovative Education and Scientific Research Foundation

In all humility, I must admit that I feel indebted and overwhelmed for having the opportunity to   preside over the board of this prestigious Innovative Education and Scientific Research   Foundation. I, being an orthopaedic surgeon and being administrator for a decade of a multi   super-specialty hospital, for me this is a humble transformation in the field of education and scientific research. My initial journey of 30 years of teaching in various medical collages and my experiences of editorship of various journals and writing chapters in various text books apart from publishing several scientific articles in national and international journals has definitely been oriented towards medical education and scientific research, while remaining associated to under graduate and specially postgraduate teaching. It is always fortunate to inherit an organization founded on solid pillars, which has been taken forwards to umpteen heights by the hard labour and focused attention and manuovers by its invaluable predecessors in the direction of its growth. I, herewith would like to express my gratitude to all the predecessors and the members of the management for bringing the foundation to this stage from its inception.

Our vision document for the coming two years is a white paper designed to charter the activities towards benefiting the research workers on the whole and scientists in particular in the medical field. The clinical research and similar activities including soft training programme is expected to go a long way in helping to fill-up the gap in much needed scientific publications following research orientation and activities on a global front. Providing to avail facilities of peer review journal, stimulating research to attend and present their research in various National and International Conferences, Seminars and Webinars, are likely to heighten during this tenure. Global interaction with experts will provide opportunities to these needy scientists for valid international exposure.

For any organization to succeed there are four keywords:

  1. Constructiveness
  2. Cooperation
  3. Commitment
  4. Consensus

To this, “confidence” and “contribution” has been added by Dr Lalit Gupta and Dr Sabita Yograj, members of newly found board. In my capacity as a member of the prestigious organization, I will proceed to do my very best to listen and ensure transparency by involving all the members of the board and management in contributing to its growth. I shall definitely like to see that I am a facilitator in achieving its goals. There are many hurdles in the growth path of any organization and it is upto all the members including the persons in the management to successfully overcome them and make them “Do-able”.

We all on May 17th 2021 look into each other straight into the eyes and take satisfaction and the very fact that we all will give our very best to this foundation and open the door for education and scientific research.

Regarding innovation, Steve Jobs of “Apple Fame” emphasised “Innovation distinguishes between a leader and follower”. Research is concealed in darkness and researchers are not acquainted with them beforehand hence Neil Armstrong, the famous astronomer explained “in much of society, research means to investigate something you do not know or understand”. Expressing almost similar sentiments by another famous persona, Wernher Von Braun mentioned “Research is what I’m doing when I don’t know what I’m doing”. Beginners in the field of research were coaxed by Mr. Zig Ziglar “you don’t have to be great to start, but you have to start to be great” and Wayne Dyer another motivational leader almost similarly exhorted “Go for it now, the future is promised to no one”.

India’s leading professional association recognised by Govt. of India, IESRF look forward to revolutionize the field of scientific research and academics. Boosting of Technology transfer will help globalization of innovation and will go a long way in building a social community by providing opportunities to globally connect and explore.

IESRF, is an organization for and of multidisciplinary researchers and various faculties in medical, dental, nursing, pharmacy on a common platform.  The milestone, is to strive for achieving a common goal of academic upliftment of researchers/scholars and helping to promote the dissemination of their work internationally.
